Día 1: Aeropuerto de Tirana – Kruja

Bienvenidos a Tirana, la vibrante capital de Albania. A su llegada, encuentro con el equipo local y salida hacia Kruja, una de las ciudades históricas más emblemáticas del país.

Conocida como la ciudad del héroe nacional Skanderbeg, Kruja ofrece una combinación perfecta entre historia, tradición y cultura. Recorrido por su castillo, el Museo de Skanderbeg y las encantadoras calles de piedra que conservan el auténtico espíritu del norte de Albania.

Día 2: Kruja – Berat – Vlora

Salida hacia Berat, famosa como la “Ciudad de las Mil Ventanas” y declarada Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO.

Recorrido por su impresionante fortaleza, donde iglesias ortodoxas, mezquitas, murallas y tradicionales casas de piedra crean una atmósfera única que refleja siglos de convivencia cultural y religiosa. Visita al Museo Onufri y tiempo para disfrutar de las mejores vistas panorámicas de la ciudad.

Experiencia opcional de degustación de vinos en la reconocida Çobo Winery, ubicada entre las colinas cercanas al Monte Tomorr.

Continuación hacia la ciudad costera de Vlora.

Día 3: Vlora – Butrint – Saranda

Hoy disfrutarán de una de las rutas panorámicas más espectaculares de los Balcanes a lo largo de la Riviera Albanesa.

El recorrido ofrece impresionantes paisajes de montaña, pequeños pueblos costeros y las aguas cristalinas del mar Jónico mientras continuamos hacia Saranda.

Visita al extraordinario Parque Arqueológico Nacional de Butrint, Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO y uno de los sitios arqueológicos más importantes de la región.

Durante el recorrido a pie, descubrirán templos, teatros, basílicas, baños romanos y antiguas murallas rodeadas de naturaleza, donde se mezclan la mitología griega, la historia romana y el legado bizantino.

Día 4: Saranda – Ioannina – Kalambaka

Después del desayuno, salida hacia Grecia con dirección a la encantadora ciudad de Ioannina.

Visita panorámica de su histórico castillo, considerado una de las fortalezas bizantinas más importantes de Grecia, con magníficas vistas sobre el lago Pamvotis. Paseo por el casco antiguo, lleno de calles tradicionales y rincones con gran herencia cultural.

Continuación hacia Kalambaka, puerta de entrada a los famosos monasterios de Meteora.

Día 5: Kalambaka – Bitola – Ohrid

Por la mañana, visita a Meteora, uno de los lugares religiosos más impresionantes del mundo.

Los monasterios bizantinos, construidos sobre gigantescas formaciones rocosas, crean un paisaje verdaderamente espectacular. Visita del Monasterio de Varlaam y del Monasterio de San Esteban, mientras se disfrutan vistas panorámicas inolvidables sobre el valle.

Posteriormente, continuación hacia Bitola, en Macedonia del Norte. Si el tiempo lo permite, paseo por la elegante calle peatonal Širok Sokak, corazón histórico y cultural de la ciudad.

Continuación hacia Ohrid.

Día 6: Ohrid – St. Naum – Ohrid

Descubrimiento de Ohrid, conocida como la “Jerusalén de los Balcanes” y declarada Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO.

Recorrido por su encantador casco antiguo junto al lago Ohrid, uno de los lagos más antiguos y profundos de Europa. Visita de importantes monumentos como la Iglesia de St. Bogorodica Perivlepta, la Catedral de Santa Sofía y la icónica Iglesia de San Juan Kaneo, situada sobre un espectacular acantilado frente al lago.

Después del almuerzo, paseo en barco por las cristalinas aguas del lago Ohrid.

Visita opcional al Monasterio de San Naum, ubicado en un entorno natural único rodeado de montañas, vegetación y vistas impresionantes del lago.

Día 7: Ohrid – Tirana

Después del desayuno, regreso hacia Tirana.

A la llegada, recorrido panorámico por la capital de Albania, descubriendo algunos de sus principales puntos de interés, como la Plaza Skanderbeg, la Mezquita Et'hem Bey, la Torre del Reloj, edificios de estilo italiano y las coloridas fachadas que representan la transformación moderna de la ciudad.

Día 8: Tirana – Aeropuerto

Tiempo libre para disfrutar de las últimas compras o recorrer los mercados locales de Tirana.

Day 2: Kruja - Berat - Vlora

Today, we’ll head to Berat, a medieval town listed under UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

We will walk up at the fortress and visit its unique architecture of stone houses, of multiple window buildings; walls and towers, orthodox churches and mosques, reflecting the harmonious coexistence between the Muslim population and the Orthodox Christian, a very positive example for the whole world. Enjoy your visit of Onufri Museum. Take some unforgettable pictures of the city of the “windows one above the other”

Tour & Wine Testing in Cobo Winery (Optional). The winery is scenically nestled at the base of Mt. Tomorri in the rolling hills that surround the city of Berat. Çobo's facilities currently consist of several cultivated vineyards, a spacious kulla (a form of traditional Albanian architecture), and the winery itself, and a wine presentation room, elegantly constructed and furnished in the Berat style.

Day 3: Albania Rivera - Butrint - Sarande

Upon arrival to Saranda, lunch (not included)

Visit of Butrint Archaeological Park, a UNSECO World Heritage Site, and a Ramsar Wetland Site of International Importance (two very important titles).

This impressive walking tour will stir your imagination about the ancient word during the peak of the Roman power and the classical Greek mythology. Start with the Asclepius temple, theatre, Roman portico and baths, early Christian baptistery, byzantine basilica, defensive walls and their impressive gates.

After a wonderful walk in Butrinti Natural Park, transfer to Saranda

Start your day with a panoramic visit to the Ioannina Castle, one of the most significant Byzantine-era fortresses in Greece. Explore the Old Castle, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding city and Lake Pamvotis. Inside the castle, you'll find the Aslan Pasha Mosque and the Byzantine Museum, which showcase the city’s multicultural past. Don’t miss the Kastros (Old City) within the castle, where narrow winding streets and traditional houses make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

For lunch, explore the local tavernas in the city center, where you can enjoy traditional Epirotic cuisine such as grilled meats, and pies.

Proceed driving to Kalambaka, with stop en route for refreshments.

Day 4: Kalambaka

Today we’ll start the visit of the Monasteries. METEORA - is actually a religious place with many Byzantine churches and Monasteries, built on top of rocks that looks like hanging rocks, overlooking a beautiful valley. Visit of two Monasteries the Holy Monastery of Varlaam & Monastery of St. Stephan

Important notice: For entering the monasteries of Meteora, appropriate clothing is required. Ladies must not wear short skirts and must have long sleeves. Men are not allowed to wear shorts. However, all the monasteries have wrap skirts at the entrances that you can borrow

Day 5: Kalambaka - Bitola

After lunch, we’ll drive towards Bitola/North Macedonia, with stop en route for refreshments.

After crossing the border, we may stop in Bitola, a city that serves as an administrative, cultural, industrial, commercial, and educational center. It is also one of the oldest cities in the Republic of Macedonia, founded by Philip II. Enjoy a pleasant walk along Širok Sokak.

Day 5: Bitola - Ohrid
